Introduction: Pezenas and Paris 2022

Our last trip was to Mexico City in January 2020 https://herewegoagain-cdmx4.blogspot.com/2020/01/in-mexico-city-again.html  Then everything stopped for the pandemic, which is still on-going. We hoped to visit France, Mexico City (again), and the Christmas Markets in Germany in 2020; then maybe Croatia and Italy and Mexico City and France in 2021. Instead, all plans were put on hold. We got vaccinated as soon as possible, and boosted, too. We took every precaution, including mask-wearing, social distancing, avoiding indoor dining/events. And it worked. We stayed uninfected! But the pandemic seems never ending so I (nagged, threatened, enlisted peer pressure) convinced the husband to bite the bullet and go with me to Pezenas and Paris in May 2022.

We left on Sunday, May 8, because husband wanted to see Stevie Nicks at the New Orleans JazzFest (on May 7).Then he decided a few days beforehand, due to the large crowds, against attending. Our nephew (a gifted guitarist) enjoyed the fest in our stead.
